Welcome to the Comprehensive Coastal Resource Management Atlas. This atlas is a portal to guidance, data, and resources for local governments to assist with implementation of new policy mandated by the General Assembly of Virginia for management of tidal shorelines in Virginia.   • Shoreline Best Management Practices: delivers shoreline best management practices for your locality,

  • Shoreline and Tidal Marsh Inventory Data: GIS data for shoreline condition and tidal marshes, and

  • County Toolbox: includes a Comprehensive Map Viewer depicting shoreline best management practices and current shoreline condition, a Sea Level Rise Risk and Vulnerability Tool that projects sea level rise scenarios into the future, and additional links on integrated coastal management and shoreline best management practices.
